About Me

I have a Bachelors of Arts in Biology and Anthropology from Western Washington University and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Bastyr University. I am Level-1 Certified in Gottman Methods Couples Therapy from the Gottman Institute. I also hold a Certificate for Prevention, Identification and Treatment of Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders: Basic & Advanced Topics through the Perinatal Support of Washington, and Advanced Mental Health Psychotherapy Training through Perinatal Support International. I am currently enrolled in Antioch University's Sex Therapy Certification Program. I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate in Washington State (#MC60938612).

I have experience working with children, teens, and young adults, as well as their families. During my own transition into motherhood, I was taken back by the lack of available mental health services for families in the perinatal stage of life. My own struggles led me to further explore this area and, ultimately, a desire to refocus my practice to support families and individuals experiencing difficulties with the perinatal period. Although I specialize in perinatal support, I still offer services for any stage along the parenting journey.

I love the work I do, feel very called, and am honored to provide therapeutic services to our community. I do so through an anti-oppressive framework that is culturally sensitive, feminist, sex positive, HAES focused, and LGBTQIA2S+ affirming.
